Tony Tony Tonyyyyyy!!!!!! (pardon the Producers pun)

This is by far my favorite awards show! I eagerly watch the truly talented yet unknown performers accept what I believe is the most prestigious award because their performances are live, not extra takes! This year, I was left with mixed emotions. I was sorely disappointed at the amount of A-listers that were in this season's shows! Leave the talent to the real pros! Don't ass-rape real art by shoving your face on the billboards around Times Square. Thankfully, when I went to New York, I saw Broadway performances by true performers who live not so glamorous lives compared to their celebrity peers.

Red, Fences and Memphis were the main winners of the night! They were wonderful! The performances of all the shows were amazing!

As a self proclaimed Gleek, I can not let the performances by Glee's Matthew Morrison and Lea Michelle go unnoticed. For Morrison, it seemed apparent that he hasn't performed on stage for a while. He was breathy during the last half of "All I Need Is The Girl". But who cares? Mr. Shu looked sexy as always. So, that distracted me. Michelle, in my opinion sang "Don't Rain on My Parade" better than she did on Glee. But please, can she sing another song? I'm sick of her trying to out-Barbara Barbara Streisand. It's funny on Glee, not in real life. I'd rather have seen Barbara sing it again!

Well, all I hope for next year is less celebrities and more artists at the Tony's.

Heigl Hops In!

Katherine Heigl entered her name for a Best Supporting Actress Emmy nomination for her role in Grey's Anatomy! First of all, who does that? How self-righteous can she be? Second, she already won the same title for the exact same role in 2007! Lastly, she was hardly featured in the show. She was off shooting films with  movie stars while forgetting what put her on the map in the first place! If you think you're too big for Grey's, hang up the scrubs, Heigl!

Brains trumps beauty on the Transformers set

I guess beauty doesn't distract Michael Bay from dropping Megan Fox from the next installment of Transformers 3. Fox publicly criticized Bay to the press by comparing him to Hitler and Napoleon.

Just goes to show, however beautiful you are (through plastic surgery or naturally), you still can not publicly bad mouth the director of the movie that made you famous.

Beiber and BET don't mix!!!

So, Justin Beiber is up for the BET award for Best New Artist. Who the hell said that was a good idea? Watch the video for "Baby" and tell me if he deserves the nomination. He isn't even a hip hop singer. He  is a pop singer who just happens to dress like a douchebag and have a Dorothy Hamill haircut. There are plenty of great new hip hop artists out there right now! Why the Beebs? I guess we have to just sit and wait.

All celebrities should do this!

Will I Am of The Black Eyed Peas surprised guests on Oprah who were in jeopardy of losing their houses by paying off their debt. I think if celebrities did this more often, at least donate to people, less lives would be affected by the budget crisis. It only cost Will I Am about $300,000. Why can't the same be done by other celebs?

Will I Am is starting a new charity called I Am Home that helps families in financial troubles. It is refreshing to see a celebrity use their popularity and money to help others instead of spending their money ridiculously.

Oh Miley Cyrus!

This girl's new video came out titled "Can't Be Tamed". I like the artistic vision; The whole birdcage thing is cute, but the breaking out of confinement has been done (a la "Genie in a Bottle"). I love the choreography in the video and the costuming was outstanding. I just would expect a video of this magnitude from a singer with the pipes to match the power of the video. Christina Aguilera can do it, Gaga can and Madonna too. But Miley Cyrus should wait until she leaves Disney and find a good voice coach who can teach her how to sing as well as articulate before doing a video like this.

Again, this is a great video, but not for a girl under a Disney contract where little girls look up to her and emulate her. My little cousins are 7 and 8. Both of them are going through "guy drama" and trying to look super thin and dress extra sexy already. I understand that Cyrus is 17 and growing up, but since she's under a Disney contract, she should refrain from doing the super sexy, trying to be Lady Gaga video.

Let's Get Sexy Again!!!

As just about every girl in this world is, I am so excited about Sex and the City 2! I'm wondering what will happen and what lesson will be learned. So far, I know Carrie is feeling the marital blues feeling caught up in being Mrs. Big. There is a relationship falling apart. And Aiden is back!!! I just am so excited to see how this is all going to play out!I hope it comes out just as great as the 1st movie, maybe better! Please don't disappoint me Michael Patrick King!
